Residential Recycling in Saint Paul

Eureka Recycling is the city of Saint Paul’s nonprofit recycling partner. Formerly the recycling department of the Saint Paul Neighborhood Energy Consortium, Eureka Recycling has provided recycling and waste reduction services, programs, education and advocacy for over fifteen years.

Free Market

The Free Market is an Internet-based exchange program that connects people who have free reusable items with people who want them. Since the program began in 1998, nearly 1,100 tons of reusable goods — including furniture, appliances, landscaping materials and recreation supplies — has been saved from landfills and incinerators. To find out about available items in the Twin Cities Metro Area, place a want ad or list something to give away, visit the Free Market website. Other communities can set up their own Free Market program through Eureka Recycling's Free Market Franchise.

Information, Outreach & Education

Eureka Recycling is committed to making recycling and waste reduction information available to every person served by our programs.

Advocacy

As one of the largest nonprofit recyclers in the nation, Eureka Recycling uses its expertise to advocate for recycling and waste reduction practices that optimally balance cost, convenience and environmental benefit.
