Eureka Recycling provides direct curbside recycling services in several Twin Cities communities. We also accept materials that are collected by other haulers.
Every community's recycling program is a little different. Here you will find all the information you need to fully participate in the recycling program that Eureka Recycling offers.

What to recycle and how to sort
Recycling programs vary by city and state. Find out how to recycle where you live. View our sorting instructions for more information.
Educational resources for curbside recycling are available in Hmong, Somali, and Spanish.
Find out your recycling day
If you live in a single-family home, a duplex, or any small apartment building with 10 or fewer units in the cities Eureka Recycling serves, you already have access to recycling pickup every week. Contact us to find out your collection day. Call our Zero-Waste Hotline at (651) 222-SORT (7678) or email us to find out your collection day. Saint Paul residents can also find their collection day here.
Set out your recycling materials by 7:00 a.m.
To ensure your materials are collected, always set your recycling out by 7:00 a.m., or the night before your collection day. Sometimes our routes change and we may come through your neighborhood at a different time of day from week to week.
2013 Holiday schedule
Call us or visit your city’s website to find out when your recycling day will be delayed due to a holiday. Saint Paul residents can also find holiday schedule information here. Your collection day may be delayed one day if it falls on or after these observed holidays only:
Get a recycling bin
Get a recycling bin to make it easier to recycle! For details about how to get recycling bins, visit your city’s website or contact us.
If you don't have recycling bins, or if you have extra materials that don't fit in your bins, you can set out your recyclables in paper bags. No plastic bags please! Clothes and linens are the only material that we can collect in plastic bags. You can also use paper bags inside your recycling bins to sort materials.
If you use cardboard boxes instead of bins and you want to keep them, please clearly mark them with the word "SAVE." If you provide your own recycling bins, please use bins similar in size to those provided by your city (14-18 gallons).
If you live in an apartment building with more than 10 units, check to see if your building provides apartment recycling. If it does not, call our Zero-Waste Hotline at (651) 222-SORT (7678) to learn more about using curbside recycling services until recycling can be established at your building.
