Environmental Roundtable Eureka Recycling's advocacy and policy work present solutions to the social, environmental, and health problems caused by wasting.

Because zero waste can only be realized by any person or group that chooses to prevent waste, the heart of Eureka Recycling’s advocacy takes root at the community level.

We are building a zero-waste movement!

We provide opportunities for everyone to experience firsthand that waste can be prevented.
We tackle tough issues in the quest to create zero-waste initiatives that are sustainable and effective. We are in the constant pursuit of information to challenge assumptions and status quo thinking, including our own. Even though this process can be difficult—requiring open dialogue with diverse views, additional time, and the willingness to change our minds—it establishes credibility.
We engage countless community partners and individuals in our work, because zero waste isn’t just about no garbage—it’s about not wasting any of our precious resources: air, soils, food, energy, transportation, design, health, natural resources, people, and more.

We see zero-waste efforts succeed in communities, homes and businesses every day. This gives us an unwavering conviction to advocate for zero waste.

We also believe in the tradition of the nonprofit community to share our ideas and practices so that others can apply what we’ve done, in whole or in part. Indeed, this is the only way to achieve our mission. We hope you will join the zero-waste movement!
