Eureka Recycling is most well-known for its big green recycling trucks and its $9 million annual recycling operations. We've provided curbside and apartment recycling services, education, and advocacy since 2001.

As a zero-waste organization, Eureka Recycling has created a recycling model that has changed the face of recycling in the Twin Cities. For ten years we have pushed forward with a goal of reshaping and rethinking the way we view waste in all we do...recycling being no exception.
Because Eureka Recycling is a local, zero-waste, nonprofit organization, our recycling services are unlike any other recycling services offered. In our recycling model, the cost-effectiveness of the collection and processing of recyclables includes serious consideration of the environmental impacts.
Besides the fact that Eureka Recycling has shared millions of dollars in revenue with the cities we serve, recycled hundreds of thousands of tons of material, sequestered thousands of tons of CO2, saved energy and water, and provided many other environmental benefits, all of Eureka Recycling's proceeds have always gone towards improving the environment.
Because of our zero-waste mission, we work closely with our partner cities to ensure the best recycling programs and work on additional zero-waste efforts to demonstrate that waste is preventable.
Eureka Recycling provides an array of other zero-waste initiatives—like zero-waste events, composting programs, and more—that are now regularly mentioned in conversations about recycling contracts. We also help cities we don't directly serve apply the best practices of recycling service when they procure contracts for services.
