Get a Blue Bin

blue binBlue recycling bins have been a symbol of Saint Paul's recycling program for over 15 years. The city of Saint Paul provides blue bins for curbside recycling at no charge to Saint Paul residents.

Blue bins are distributed through Saint Paul's community councils. You can call them to obtain up to two blue bins. To find the number for your community council, use the map below to determine which district you live in and look for the number in the list below. If you don't know which district you live in, contact us to find out.

Paper Bags are OK!

If you don't have blue bins, or if you have extra materials that don't fit in your bins, you can set out your recyclables in paper bags. No plastic bags please! Clothes and linens are the only material that our drivers will pick up in plastic bags. You can also use paper bags inside your blue bins to sort materials. If you use cardboard boxes instead of blue bins and you want to keep them, please clearly mark them with the word "SAVE."
